A child places an American $20 bill in a collection box to support humanitarian relief efforts in Japan. This youngster was part of a crowd of more than 1,000 people attending the March 24 “Stand With Japan” event in Washington, organized to show U.S. support for victims of the March 11 earthquake and tsunami that struck northeastern Japan.
